Hands-on AI-Assisted Development, IT track, Day 3 handouts

[About the ZIP]

IT_Day3_handouts.zip Use this ZIP on Windows.
IT_Day3_handouts.zip Use the same ZIP on Mac.

The file names have no Japanese characters, so one ZIP works on both Windows and Mac.

[Where to extract]

Extract it into the tpro-work folder you have used on Day 1 and Day 2.
The top level of the ZIP is the day3 folder, so extracting it creates a day3 folder inside tpro-work.

On Windows
  1. Right-click the ZIP and choose "Extract All"
  2. Click "Browse" and select the tpro-work folder on the desktop
  3. Click "Extract". You are done when day3 appears inside tpro-work

On Mac
  1. Double-click the ZIP. A day3 folder appears in the same place as the ZIP
  2. Drag the new day3 folder into the tpro-work folder on the desktop

After extracting, open the tpro-work folder in VS Code with File > Open Folder.
If you open only the day3 folder, Copilot cannot read the instructions files and tests from Day 1 and Day 2.

[Included files]

day3/README.txt
  This file.
day3/02_literacy-check.html
You open it for the Literacy Check in the afternoon. Do not open it before then.

This morning, you use the files in tpro-work that you made on Day 1 and Day 2. No new data is handed out.
The data for the afternoon practical exam comes in a separate ZIP at the start of the exam. Extract it into day3 inside tpro-work.

[What to check first]

tests.html opens in the browser and shows the SUMMARY line
  testcases.md, decision-log.md and security-notes.md are directly under tpro-work

If any of these is missing, tell the instructor in the Zoom chat. Replacements are in day2/fallback in the Day 2 handouts.
